#BAMRUARY 2021

Since 2018 Prime Vice Studios has had the tradition of #BAMRUARY, which stands for Black Awareness Month- February. This art challenge event was created to honor Black History Month. We participate by creating and sharing original art that brings awareness to Black culture, history, people, etc. We encourage all artists to show off their talents by creating art that represents Black awareness and posting it online using the namesake hashtag.

This year the PVS theme focused on Black American comedians. Ananya & I completed four pieces on some of our favorite comedy legends. We wish we could have completed more art but time and life doesn’t always allow for such things. It was a blast to do comics and mini bios based on such beloved and accomplished individuals. Enjoy!
